The island of Taiwan is located a bit further south than Okinawa and is rich in fruit. A variety of fruits are sold here, some of which are considered rare or expensive in Japan, and some are sold at random. It is fun to see what kind of fruits are displayed in the fruit shop. In Taipei's Chenggong Market, there are also fruit shops. Like many other fruit shops in Taipei, they had a variety of fruits on display.
While I was looking at the fruits on sale, a female clerk spoke to me in Chinese. It seemed that she didn't think I was a foreign tourist, but a local. Seeing my slightly confused face, she seemed to realize that I was a foreigner. The older woman was also smiling shyly. I thought she would stop talking, but the woman seemed to have a hard time giving up. She took the time to explain to me which fruits she recommended. I was overwhelmed by her enthusiasm, so I bought some mangoes from her.
