An elderly woman was wrapping dumplings in front of the store. This is a delicatessen, and she is working with a pile of dumpling skins and a bowl full of bean paste piled in front of her. With a familiar hand, she takes the skin, grabs a handful of bean paste, wraps it up, and carefully arranges the finished dumplings on the tray. His movements are smooth and efficient, and truly worthy of the term “craftsmanship.
There were already many dumplings neatly arranged on the tray, but her hands never stopped. It seemed that the work was far from finished. Even so, a gentle smile is on her face. The joy and pride she takes in making gyoza can be felt in the way she silently devotes herself to her work.
The gyoza made in such a joyful manner must surely be delicious. The dumplings being formed in her hands seemed to contain not only skill but also heart. The scene added a warm atmosphere to the deli's storefront.
