I walked the dim street continuously. The Raya Mangga Besar street of Jakarta was a wide and four-lane roadway. It was already dark when I walked around. The traffic was modestly busy.
Shops, restaurants, and hotels were seen side by side. And I could see many stalls on the edge of the street. Not only food stalls but also fruit shops were doing business on both sides of the street. The fruit shop in this photo was one of them.
A big stand was placed and many durians were displayed on it. Besides, some durians were hung in the air. The fruit is uncommon in Japan. So I have never seen many durians at one time. However, it seemed to be familiar in the city of Jakarta. There were fruit shops selling durians in spots by the roadside. And it was available to buy durians by a drive-through order.
