I came to another store doing business in the street. The street in Chinatown was bustling and various foodstuffs were sold. Of course, various fruits were also sold there. Thailand is located in Southeast Asia. Therefore, this country was rich in tropical fruits.
Looking closer, I found a kind of tropical fruit on the table. And the woman in this shop was just peeling the fruit. It didn't retain the original form already. And I couldn't find out what kind of fruit it was, at first. It was big and the size was uncommon to see in Japan.
I asked the woman what it was. Yet the reply was Thai and I couldn't understand. Poring for a while, I understood finally. It was jackfruit. It is said jackfruit is the biggest fruit in the world.
