Besides, the train is the only thing that goes on the tracks, and it is not a place where many people pass by. In my layman's opinion, it would be more profitable to open a store on the platform. Perhaps those who do business on the tracks have some reason for not being able to do so on the platform.

The female vendor in the photo was also doing business on the tracks with baskets of grapes and rambutans. After a while, a man walked up from the other side. They seemed to know each other and exchanged some words. The woman's basket still had some grapes and rambutans left over, so she must be continuing her business on the tracks for the time being.
