Even though there was a laid-back air about the Tha Tien Market, not all of the people working there were relaxed. Even with not many shoppers around, those who are working are still working. As in other workplaces, I guess they can create as many jobs as they want.
The two women in the photo also looked busy working in the quiet market. They were working in a dry goods store, bagging goods one after the other. I wondered if they had a large order. When I approached them with my camera in hand, they did not respond to my camera. I didn't have time to deal with strangers who were not my customers. They had a lot of work to do.
Undeterred by the less-than-welcoming atmosphere, I bravely approached. A woman glances at me without stopping. I asked if I could take her picture, and she nodded. It seems that even if I am busy, it is okay to take pictures. I clicked the shutter, and the sound of my camera was the only sound echoing through the quiet market.
