All Shops Were Closed

Deserted passage in Tsukiji Market

The inner market was deserted

Shot at Tsukiji Market in Tsukiji, Tokyo.

As opposed to the outer market, which was bustling with visitors, the inner market was so quiet. It was a non-working day for the fish brokers and their shops were closed. Unfortunately, I couldn't see the auction sale.

The area where I amble about was densely packed with the shops. And many signboards were seen in the passage. Yet I saw few people. If the shops were not well-organized, I deluded myself into rambling along among the ruins. It was a surreal scenery.
