Every shop in this huge Khlong Toei Market set out many articles for sale. I came here in the afternoon. So the bustling atmosphere has vanished already. The tranquil air was wafting in the passages. The people worked at a leisurely pace and the goods waited for someone coming to buy. Many parasols were erected in front of the shops and people walked under them.
When I held my camera, I found a man walking ahead. He wore a hat and an orange vest. And he dragged a big basket. At first, I thought he collected the rubbishes because the passage was garbage-strewn. Yet it was not right. He was a courier. Most of people came here were businessmen. So they bought too many foodstuffs to carry. And this was where he came in. He carried the foodstuffs instead of the buyers.
