The Da Nyin Gone Market is divided into several sections, with slightly wide aisles extending between the sections. I am not sure if there is a reason for the division into sections or not. In any case, it is probably easier to bring in goods when there are wide aisles. The aisle in the photo was one such aisle. It seemed to be poorly drained, and was filled with puddles of water left behind by rain that fell at some unknown time.
The market was filled with a tranquil atmosphere. The busy time seemed to have passed. As I stood by the flooded aisle, a cart full of bananas passed by me. The cart, pushed by a few men, moves through the puddle. I looked around the puddle and saw a group of men hanging around, looking for something to do. I guessed that these men were transporters just like the men pushing the cart with bananas on it. When the trucks bring in their cargo, they must be carrying it by hand to the stores in the market.
