The man in the tank top and lungi was a butcher. He sat down to work in a small shop on the corner of Dhaka. He had a knife in his hand and a cutting board in front of him. He was holding a chunk of meat in his left hand while he was slicing it with the knife he held in his right hand.
There was only a cutting board inside the butcher, and there were no facilities for refrigeration at all. This shop was very modestly built, but that didn't mean it's particularly modest. All butchers in Dhaka were the same.
When I pointed my camera at the butcher, he stopped his work and smiled at me.
