Continued to walk around the street market. The street market was busy and many local people came to buy. What sold here was perishable foods. So most of the people those who came to buy were locals. The place was not a tourist attraction and I thought I was the only foreigner who walked around there.
Meanwhile, I came to a butcher. Although there were also butcher selling beef, chickens were most popular here. Like other countries, chickens could be the most cost-effective.
A table was placed in the storefront and two butchers cut the meat together. The butcher cut the blocks of meat one after another. They seemed busy so much. The man in this photo was one of them. The accounting clerk standing beside the butchers was interested in me. However, the butchers kept working single-mindedly all their lives. Watching him, what I was attracted was the stars drawn on his T-shirt. Come to think of it, a star was drawn in the center of the national flag of Myanmar.
