Looking at the meat for sale at the butcher's shop in the market is nice, but it is much more fun to look at the prepared foods at the delicatessen. There were, of course, a number of delicatessen shops operating here in Chenggong Market. And the area around the delicatessen was filled with the aroma of delicious Chinese food. Many of the Chinese dishes are familiar to me, even as a Japanese, and even if I haven't had them before, I can imagine what they taste like. Chinese food in Taiwan is suitable for Japanese taste in particular. I think it is less greasy than Chinese food on the continent.
Every prepared food sold in this shop looked delicious. Looking at them, I'm tempted to try them. But it's not a good idea. If I bought and ate them here, I would surely miss my dinner. If you work hard, you can visit a lot of places in the limited time of the trip. But no matter how hard you try, there is a limit to how much you can eat in a limited amount of time. It's impossible to eat five or six times a day. Therefore, I left the shop without buying anything.
