The Chongde Market in Tainan was crowded with locals. There were many people there and the workers seemed to be busy. As I walked around the market, I came to a chicken shop. There was a young man working at the counter, wearing a apron.
There was a round chopping board on the spacious counter. The chopping board at the fish shop I saw earlier in the same market was also round. In Japan, chopping boards are usually rectangular, but in Taiwan, chopping boards seem to be round.
A young man with a Chinese kitchen knife in his hand was just processing a large number of chicken wings. I wondered how many chicken wings were on the counter. There was a pile of chicken wings on the counter. It must have been such a huge amount of chicken wings to satisfy the locals' stomachs.
