The Yamuliao Market was not light-filled. Nevertheless, the woman in this photo wearing an apron was working while she was also wearing a cap. Where she worked was a delicatessen. And she was just making dumplings. It was not uncommon to see people making dumplings in any market. It was a common dish here.
She was wrapping minced meat into dumpling skins one after another. Many wrapped dumplings were put in the tray in front of her. When she finished wrapping, she would boil them. Watching her finesse, I became practically salivating.
