Although I was wandering around the Khlong Toei market, I was not there with the intention of buying anything. I was just walking around looking at the things for sale and the people working there. It is fun to watch people working. Most of the time, the people working in this market are full of energy. I feel invigorated when I see them.
The woman in the photo is also a market worker. There was a round wooden cutting board in front of her, and she was just removing the scales from a fish. The peeled scales were scattered around her.
At first I just thought she was wearing an austere colored apron with many patterns on it. But upon closer inspection, the patterns looked a lot like the Louis Vuitton logo. I looked again, thinking it was surprising that Louis Vuitton would sell aprons, and found that they were similar but not Louis Vuitton aprons. The apron was just Louis Vuitton-esque. If Louis Vuitton started selling aprons, there might be an unexpectedly large number of people who would want one.
