The transporter had his feet in a big basket, waiting for a customer to arrive
A large basket is placed in the middle of the aisle that stretches to the Khlong Toei Market, and a man with a mustache is sitting with both feet in it. In contrast to the people coming and going along the aisle and the people working in the stores, he remained still with his hands on his knees. It was as if he was the only one left out of the flow of time. He was a courier working in the market, waiting patiently for customers to arrive here.
Busy market hours had already passed, and the man did not seem to have much work coming to him. He waits patiently under his parasol. When I stopped in front of him, he did not seem to move, but only moved his thick eyebrows and looked at me as if he was searching for the foreigner who had suddenly appeared. Seeing the camera I was holding, he seemed to immediately understand that I was not a customer. Perhaps a little disappointed, he kept his powerful gaze fixed on me and settled into the viewfinder.
