A thick wooden chopping board was placed on the table. And a fish was put on the board. A young man wearing a rugged necklace stood on the other side of the table. A knife was in his hand and he was about to cut the fish. He was a fishmonger in Khlong Toei Market.
Because there were few tourists in this market, it might be uncommon to see a tourist who stared at what he did. Not only the young man but also the other staves started to smile when I held my camera. What he did was no different from any other day. Nevertheless, he was focused for better or worse.
