Nothing says Taiwanese breakfast like Dou Jiang, hot soybean milk. There are many shops selling Dou Jiang in the streets because it is common to have breakfast outside of the home here. So I walked to one of the shops called Yong He Soy Milk King near Daan Station to break my fast. It seemed to be popular to the local people and attracted an endless stream of customers.
When I entered an eating place in foreign countries, it was often difficult to know how to order. Fortunately, a Japanese menu was available here. So I could understand what kind of menu was served here. I filled the order form and got in a line along with the local people.
After a short while, my turn came and I passed along the order form to one of the staffs. He said something and other staffs started to prepare my order. The small kitchen was busy.
