Shot at Khlong Toei Market in Bangkok, Thailand.
Thailand has a long coastline. However, the inshore fishery is not developed in this country. Most of the fishes sold in the market are freshwater fishes. And the locals seem not to eat fish so much unlike in Japan. For a certainty, what I remember as Thai cuisine are meat dishes. Interestingly, shrimps are lavishly catered for Thai cuisine.
During thinking such things, I walked around the area where many fishmongers did business. Even I thought so, there were many fishmongers and a large amount of fishes was sold. The woman in this photo worked in one of the fishmongers. She wore a plastic glove on her right hand. When I focused on her, she smiled keeping working.
