Various stores were operating in the old-fashioned Xinfu Market. Some sold prepared foods, others sold foodstuffs. Some of them sold sushi. Sushi shops are everywhere in Taiwan. Sushi seems to have become a fully-fledged citizen's right in Taiwan.
As I walked through the market, I found a chicken store among the many stores. A lot of chicken meat was lined up on the counter in front of the store. Looking closely, I found that they seemed to be arranged methodically by part of the chicken. Some of them have chicken crowns. I've never had chicken crowns in a Chinese restaurant, so I don't know what kind of dish they are made of, but I guess they are for sale.
Despite the bustle of the tables full of chicken, the owner of the chicken shop looks bored. With nothing to do, he was quietly staring at the screen of his phone behind the counter.
