As I approached the center of Bangkok's Chinatown, the number of restaurants began to increase. The main attraction of Chinatown in any country is Chinese food, which can be found not only in the restaurants, but also in the street stalls. People who do not want to be so formal as to dine at a restaurant, but still want a bite to eat, will probably buy their food from a street vendor. The food stall in the photo is one of the stalls in Chinatown. A man wearing a camouflage hat was running the stall.
I approached this man's stall because his stall seemed to be thriving among all the other stalls. Customers were waiting in line, one after another, without interruption. It is quite a popular stall. The food served by this man must be quite delicious. As I approached, I could see grilled fish and whole roasted chicken on top of the stall. At first glance, there was no difference in the food sold. I stared at the stall and could not find the secret of its popularity. All I could see was a man in a camouflage hat staring off into the distance somewhere.
