Shot at Khlong Toei Market in Bangkok, Thailand.
Many bird cages were placed in front of each butcher. And every cage was occupied by the living chickens. The butchers doing business in this area sold living chickens. Of course, I saw many butchers sold chicken meat in this market. Yet there were also the butchers selling live chickens. And they seemed to be doing business in the separate places.
Those who wanted to buy fresh meat came to this area and bought the living chickens. I thought it was difficult to wring a chicken's neck. However, the Thai people might be accustomed to do that because many living chickens were sold. The chickens were moving around in the narrow cage.
