I was heading to a hotel in the Royal Palace area of Bangkok. There was still a distance to the Royal Palace area from where I was walking at this time. It would take about an hour to get there on foot. Of course, I knew that if I took a cab or Bangkok's famous tuk-tuk, I would get there in no time. But it is not my style to take such a vehicle. I have a kind of obsession that in order to get to know a town better, I have to walk around the streets of the town. On this occasion, I was obsessed with this obsession, so I just kept walking the streets of Bangkok.
As I walked, I could see the stores and the people living in the city. In the meantime, I was getting hungry. As I was scurrying around, looking for something to fill my stomach, I met the man in the picture. The man with the baby face was selling sausages on skewers by the side of the road. Attracted by the delicious smell, I bought sausages called Sai Krok, a specialty of the Isan region of Thailand from him without hesitation. I also took his picture.
