Large numbers of people were working in Mahachai's shopping district. Although the shopping street was busy, not all the workers were standing around looking busy. Most of them are sitting in the storefronts waiting for customers to arrive. They are sitting on the side of the containers of fresh food, waiting for customers to come in and buy.
