Man In A Small Village

Man sitting at the entrance

The man sat at the entrance

Shot in the city of Thanlyin, Myanmar.

Entered the small village near the railway station. The small path stretched and small houses stood on both sides of the path. No local dwellers were seen walking and I moved deeper inside. Although no one was on the path, the local people were lazy and relax in their own dwelling. Feeling a presence, I walked.

When I came to a house, I caught the local man's eye. The man, who was stripped to his waist, sat at the entrance to his wooden house. A bowl was placed in front of him and he put his hand into it. When he noticed me, he stopped moving and started to look straight at me. Because this village was not a tourist destination, so he could think why a foreign traveler walked in front of his house.
