I crossed the railroad tracks and stepped into a hamlet near the railroad station called Oak Pho Su. Narrow roads stretched out, lined with small houses on both sides. The village seemed quiet and empty. There were probably some locals in the village, but they seemed to be relaxing inside their houses. I felt the presence of people in the houses as I walked slowly along the empty path.
When I came to a house, a man was unusually present, and our eyes met. There was a bowl on the porch and the man had his hand inside. What was he doing? When he saw me, he stopped moving his hand and looked straight at me. This place is located on the outskirts of Thanlyin, and there is not the slightest hint of a tourist attraction. He seems to be pondering why a foreigner with a camera is walking around in a village that is neither a tourist attraction nor a place of interest. Unfortunately, there is no particular reason. I just came here as I felt like it.
