Hanging around the market, I came to a place where many fish and seafood were sold. The city of Thanlyin is home to the largest port in Myanmar. So this market was rich in fish and seafood. Many women worked in every store. And most of them were not busy. Some women made small talk and some women did nothing in particular.
The woman in this photo was the latter. She looked into the distance without paying attention. Even though I approached, she didn't notice and kept looking into the distance. Beside her, some plastic bags were placed and the small dried shrimps were put into every bag.
It was a seasoning agent. It is common in Chinese cuisine. Yet it seems to be also common in Burmese cuisine. I saw them being sold in spots during traveling.
