While walking down the street in Bago, I came to a store. At first, I thought it was just a shack, but I was wrong. There were several bowls lined up in front of the store with items for sale. The hut-like interior was dimly lit, and the man who owned the store was sitting in the dim light. As I looked at the bowls, I saw that each bowl contained grains. Some of them looked like red beans, others like wheat flour. Apparently, this was a store that sold grains. I could see a mortar and pestle by the man's side, so perhaps the flour and other powdery things sold here were ground by the owner himself.
I stood in front of the man and held my camera. The shopkeeper smiled and complied. On the other hand, the woman, who seemed to be the man's spouse, didn't seem to be interested in the camera at all. She didn't even look at me and was busily working behind the man all the while I was setting up my camera.
