While walking down the main street, I came to a convenience store. There are convenience stores here and there in Bangkok, just like Tokyo. And I feel that most of them are 7-Eleven. That's how many 7-Eleven's there are in the city of Bangkok. There are more than 6,000 7-Eleven stores in Thailand, and Thailand seems to have the second most 7-Eleven stores in the world, after Japan. By the way, the company that operates the franchise in this country is a Chinese company called Charoen Pokphand.
The building in front of me was a 7-Eleven. There was a little girl and her mother bending over in front of the store. The mother had a bowl in her hand. Apparently, she was feeding her daughter here. Why she was feeding her daughter on the sidewalk in front of the convenience store, I didn't know. In any case, the girl didn't seem too keen on eating. When she noticed me approaching her, she stopped eating and started to stare at me.
