On the other side of a bell, a stupa was seen. It is the East Pagoda built in 730. It is the only original 8th-century structure in this long-established temple.
I wondered whether the carpenters which made this had a conscious desire to show their skills to the future generation. I couldn't imagine how the world would be after more than 1000 years. I was overwhelmed. And a woman standing in front of the stupa seemed to also strike the beam.
