Shot at Chinatown in Bangkok, Thailand.
Sidetracking from busy Rama IV road, I entered a narrow street. Although I entered to avoid the crowd, this street was also crowded. I might come to a kind of market. The stores were side by side and various foodstuffs were displayed in each storefront. And many shoppers came to buy, of course. The market was bustling. The store in this photo was one of the stores in the street.
Chestnuts, ginkgo nuts, lotus roots, and others were displayed in the storefront. I didn't know how I called this sort of shop. Foodstuffs were sold. Yet they were not vegetables nor prepared foods. The chestnuts were already roasted and the ginkgo nuts were also already roasted. However, the lotus roots were muddied and seemed fresh.
By the way, the young man working in this store wore a German football uniform, which color was similar to ginkgo nuts.
