This shrine has a long history. Its name was written on 'Hitachi-no-kuni-hudoki' which was written in the 8th century. And Takemikazuchi who was considered a god of thunder and sword was enshrined here.
There was a souvenir shop in the precinct and I could see a young woman wearing a traditional costume working inside. It sells amulets and others. Maybe there were many people wanting the luck in battle.
