Like other markets in Myanmar, some vendors had their own store and some vendors didn't have. I didn't know the reason. At any rate, all the vendors worked in a leisurely way. The woman in this photo was the latter.
They displayed their vegetables on the ground in the passage and did business there. Many baskets were placed in front of her and various vegetables were put on them. In the meantime, a shopper came to the vendor. Getting an order, the female vendor started to put green beans into a plastic bag.
I stood in front of her and watched what she did. And she could strongly feel that she was being watched. She gave vent to her laughter finally. Against that background, another female vendor surveyed the situation from a distance.
