The woman was reading a religious scripture in front of the gate of Lungshan Temple
When I came to the Longshan temple, the gate was closed. Because a typhoon was coming to this island, the temple was not open to the public on that day. This temple was one of the major tourist attractions of Taipei. So the visitors came to this temple, one after another. Everybody watched the building through the gate and started to go back where they came.
Unlike other people, an older woman was sitting at the gate. And she was reading a religious scripture there. Perhaps, she came here to read the scripture in the hall in the precinct. Yet it was impossible. So she was doing on the outside of the gate.
