The road I was walking on in Bago was not paved, but a gravel road. The gently sloping road led to a bridge over the Bago River. The sun was relentlessly shining on the road surface. Stores lined both sides of the road, and every shopfront had a parasol to protect them from the strong sunlight. The parasols cast clear shadows here and there in the sunlight. The unpaved road must have been very dusty under such continuous sunshine. At this time, however, the ground had not yet become so dusty.
I was walking toward the bridge. A motorcycle passed by. But the people working here didn't seem to have much time on their hands, and no one paid any attention to the gentile's carefree walk. A fierce cloud was floating in the blue sky at the end of the road. If that cloud would come this way, it might be a little cooler. But at the same time, it might also bring heavy rainfall.
