A monk without a parasol was staggering along a gravel road on the outskirts of town
I was walking along a gravel road under the strong sunlight. I was in the area of Ban Xang Khong, a village on the outskirts of Luang Prabang. There were no buildings on either side of the gravel road, and it looked like a jungle with lush green trees. It was like being on the outskirts of town.
In the meantime, I saw a young monk walking from the other side of the road, wearing a kasaya and with his right shoulder exposed. While many monks walk around with parasols, this monk was not wearing one. I was worried that he might get a bad sunburn only on his right shoulder.
