Passing through the crowded streets, I came to the main street again. This is a big street that runs through the center of Bago. When I came here earlier, all I saw were cars, but this time I could also see students. They seemed to be on their way home from school. They are all wearing the same clothes, which must be their school uniforms. They were all wearing white shirts and dark green long longyi.
Myanmar schools seem to love the color green. It seems that green is used for school uniforms in all schools. The students I saw in Yangon and Thanlyin were wearing something green. Perhaps green is the color that Myanmar people associate with study.
Two of the four boys waiting by the side of the road for the bus, laughing happily, were carrying silver lunch boxes called "dabba". This type of lunch box is often seen in India, but it may be common in Myanmar as well.
