The boy sitting in the storefront smiled
Although stores lined both sides of the thoroughfare, they were all wholesale stores and very few retail stores. Perhaps that is why there are few people walking around here. People shopping for daily necessities, such as foodstuffs, do not come here. The street was not crowded with shoppers, and it was calm without many pedestrians.
The boy in the photo was sitting in front of a store on such a calm street. Inside the store, you can see what appears to be building materials. Looking around, there was no one in the store other than the boy, so it seemed that the boy was tending the store all by himself. The store, located on a quiet street, still had a peaceful atmosphere, and the boy seemed to be bored. With a fan in his hand, he gazed idly at the traffic. Time passed slowly.
But that idle time ended when he noticed my camera. The boy suddenly became crisp and started to laugh shyly. It seems he was embarrassed to be seen deflated by a strange foreigner.
