I was walking on the outskirts of Muang Sing. It was an unpaved gravel road. There are fewer roads that are paved here. Most of the roads in town were gravel roads. After walking for a while, I saw two boys at the end of the road. The two boys, who appeared to be brothers, were holding hands on the side of the road. But they didn't look like they were close, they were swordsmen. They had been fighting.
They were holding hands, but the boy who seemed to be younger brother didn't want to. With such a difference in height, there must be a significant difference in power. The younger brother seemed to be refusing to do something, but the big brother couldn't seem to allow it to happen to him.
A woman with a parasol was walking from the other side of the gravel road where the two boys were standing on the steep gravel road. In a country town like this, a stranger might break up the fight. With that in mind, I kept my eyes on the woman's movements, but she passed by as if the two acrimonious people didn't exist.
