Shot in the city of Bago, Myanmar.
The perishable food section in the market was bustling. Most of the people who sold foodstuffs and came here to buy were women. The female conversational voices echoed in the place. It seemed to be a pink-collar job to work and buy in the perishable food section in the market here. The men could do heavy lifting somewhere else during the women working in the market. However, the men might just fool around.
Many trays were placed on the ground and the articles for sale were displayed on each tray. And many women wandered back and forth the narrow passages. Watching the people in the market, I realized one thing. Most of the women here wore vivid clothes. Both to work and to buy in the market were just a part of their routine. Yet they seemed to be decked out in their holiday attire for me. The vivid colors were set off under the strong sun. And they could know it.
