Some People On Escalator

Escalator in atrium

The escalator worked in stages

Shot in the city of Ochanomizu, Tokyo.

There was an escalator. When I watched it, it didn't work and stayed motionless. Once, a pedestrian came to the place and wanted to get on, it started to work as if nothing had happened. Apparently, it worked only when there was a need. It couldn't have no intention of suiting the convenience of a person who looked at it without getting too close.

When all of the people get off, it stopped working again and waited for someone coming silently.
