The market called Theingyi Market in Yangon where I was walking around was not a tourist attraction. All I saw were locals. In fact, there were hardly any children to be seen. Unlike the outside of the market, the inside of the market did not seem to be a playground for children. The market, with its narrow aisles, seems like an ideal playground for hide-and-seek and chasing after children, but this market is a place of work.
As I wandered around the market, I unusually spotted a child. They must have been brought here by their parents who run the store. When I came to the front of the store, the girl was playing with a rope for sale. The girl's parents run a store that sells rope. When the girl noticed my camera, she became embarrassed and started to hide her face with the rope in her hand. However, the girl was still watching me through the gap between the ropes. She was embarrassed to have her picture taken, but she seemed to be just as concerned about being photographed.
