The market in the city of Yangon, where many shoppers walk around, was quiet near the entrance. There were not many people going in, and not many people coming out. It didn't seem to be full of activity.
There was a young man sitting by the entrance. He was sitting alone on one knee, not doing anything in particular. He didn't look like a shopper, so he must be someone who works at this market. He was probably just waiting for his next job to come in.
The market was quite large, with a variety of goods for sale. It's the kind of market where goods are brought in from all over the place. When I looked outside, I saw trucks parked at the loading dock. However, looking around the unloading area, I couldn't see any kind of forklift or other machinery used for unloading. Here, everything is unloaded from the trucks and carried into the warehouses and stores by hand.
The young man in the photo seems to be doing this kind of work for a living. So unless a truck comes, he has nothing to do and no time to do anything. When I pointed my camera at him, he stared back at me.
