This shrine was located just nearby the Oji station. Yet the hall was surrounded by the woods and the precinct was silent. Unlike the churches, Shinto shrines are usually standing in the woods. And the nature itself often became an object of faith in Shintoism. Shintoism has an element of the animism.
When I came to the prayer hall, the two men were praying. One man just pulled the rope to ring the bell. After the sound of the bell echoed, two men started to pray together.
