Thought this market was one of the touristic places in Yangon. The shops doing business were souvenir shops. And I was often talked by the staffs of the shops during walking around. It was not easy to walk alone here. The situation was different from other local markets. Everybody at work seemed to consider me as a person who contributed money. However, it was a consolation that they were inexperienced in sponging for money yet.
At any rate, it was a messy affair. So I walked on the edge of the market because I wanted to be alone. Although there were also many souvenir shops, the staff at work didn't tout so much. In the meantime, I met the man in this photo. He sat in front of one of the souvenir shops. A plastic box was placed on his knee. And he watched the postcards which he sold happily.
