The passage ran under the wide street. It was narrow and dim. Yet the flow of the pedestrians had been uninterrupted. I entered into the passage to go to the other side of the wide street.
Because of the dimness, the people coming from the other side were silhouetted. Yet when a young woman passed by me, I noticed she was carrying a plastic bag. What she carried seemed to be lunch boxes. She might have a late lunch somewhere else. I felt hungry when I came to the sunny place.
