The market in a residential area of Taipei was crowded with locals selling a variety of foods. There was a customer at a butcher's store, where several hunks of meat were hanging, and an elderly man wearing a cap was standing in front of them.
The man wanted to examine the quality of the meat. He is about to reach out and touch a hunk of meat. His face was serious. Looking at the man, who was probably here to buy ingredients for dinner, I could feel his enthusiasm for good food. Chinese food is one of the world's three major cuisines, so even the average person must have a high level of desire for food. It is not enough to eat just any kind of meat.
