Boy In The Rain

Boy standing in rain

The boy wore a plastic bag

Shot in the city of Kolkata, India.

It became gentle rain and some people walking the lane were putting umbrellas up. Yet most people seemed not to care about the rain. They didn't open any umbrellas. I thought it was not common to carry an umbrella here.

During walking in the rain, I found a boy who was stripped to his waist. Although he didn't have any umbrellas, he wore a plastic bag on his head for protection against rain. He hated getting wet his head. Nevertheless, he didn't care about getting wet his body. After he came to me, he smiled.
