Worshipers In Anamori Inari

Three worshiper in front of shrine

Two worshipers were just praying

Shot at Anamori Inari Jinja, a Shinto shrine in Haneda, Tokyo.

The prayer hall of this shrine was bigger than I thought. When I entered into the precinct, some previous visitors stood in front of the admirable hall. Two men were just praying and a young woman was waiting.

'ANAMORI' means to protect holes. Because this area was on the seaside, the locals had been pestered with the floods which destroyed the embankment in days past. So the name reflected the wishes of the locals.
