Unfortunately, this Damnoen Saduak Floating Market was not as bustling as I expected. I have seen many beautiful photos taken in busy floating markets in Thailand. So I thought I could take similar photos if I visited the market. However, it seemed to be impossible. The tranquil atmosphere wafted there.

The women in this photo were also lazy and relax. Both of them sat on their boats. And the boats went along the edge of the canal. They seemed to have no incentive to sell.

Looking at the women, they wore the same traditional hat. This hat is sometimes seen in this area and is called a ngob. It is similar to a Vietnamese conical hat called a non-la, but while the non-la is conical, this hat is flattened at the top. It has an inner band that fits the head inside and creates space for air circulation, making it look disproportionately large for the head.
