Cat In A Corner Of The Street

White cat in corner of street

The cat was gazing at me

Shot in the city of Kolkata, India.

When I noticed, a cat was sitting neatly in the corner of the street. And it was gazing at me. Many locals showed me their curiosities during ambling about the area. The cat was same as them. It might be a stray cat because it was thin. I wondered whether it could understand I was a foreigner.

At any rate, it was uncommon to see cats during rambling along the streets here. I met many dogs. Yet I didn't meet cats. Unlike the Islamic world, cats were not popular in the Hindu world.
